Clark Sunset Marathon 2017 (Clark)

A new Marathon is set to happen before the year ends. As RUNRIO partnered with Tourism Promotion Board and Clark Devpt. Corp. announces the upcoming Clark Sunset Marathon.

The Clark Sunset Marathon is conceptualized and organized by RUNRIO, Inc. it was inspired by the fact that in tropical countries like the Philippines that the weather is hot and humid. Running on night is much cooler and more exciting race experience.

The Clark Sunset Marathon will be held at the Parade Grounds of Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga on December 9, 2017 at 4PM.

All 42K, 21K, and10K finishers within the cut-off time will receive a finisher’s medal.

Filipino 42KM runners qualify for both open and local category prizes. While foreign 42KM runners only qualify for the open category prizes. (Foreign 42KM runners who have lived in the Philippines for 10 years or more are qualified for the local category prizes.)

The world’s number one sports drink is finally making its debut in the country’s fast growing running circuit with the launch of the first ever Gatorade Run.

The run will happen on November 22 at the Seaside Boulevard at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. There will be two distances—11 and 22 kilometers gun-starting at 5:00 and 4:00 AM respectively. Race fee is P1,100 for 11K participants and P1,500 for their 22K counterparts. The pre-race kit will include an Adidas race tee, a race bib and a timing chip. Another Adidas shirt, this time a finishers tee, will also await all finishers.

The Gatorade Run will feature a hydration station where participants can get pre-race hydration drinks, a post-run hydration test area where they can instantly learn about their hydration status, and a warm-up area where free sessions will be available for those who want a full-on warm up activity before the run.

Online registration is until November 13. Runners can also troop to Adidas outlets at Trinoma, Bonifacio Global City, Greenbelt 3, SM MOA and SM Megamall to register until November 8. Registered participants can start claiming their kits on November 16 until November 19 from 12:00 NN to 8:00 PM at their chosen store and schedule upon registration.

The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), the premier organization of HR practitioners and people managers in the country, is advocating health and wellness in the workplace as one of the most important issues that companies need to address today. With this, PMAP has organized an annual nationwide event called National Wellness Day that is being participated by various companies in the country every third Friday of June.

On 19 September 2015, the organization will hold the first-ever iHeaRt PMAP fun run at the Camp Aguinaldo Grounds, Quezon City as part of the initiatives of PMAP in promoting workplace wellness. There will be three categories: 3K, 5k and 10k with minimal registration fees of P300, P400 and P500, respectively. Aside from the singlet and race bib, runners will receive cool freebies from sponsors. Also, awesome prizes await all race winners per category.
